Welcome to Kendriya Vidyalaya Surda
This kendriya Vidyalaya Surda, which was opened in 1978 as a project school, had been the prime gem in the crown of the Sangathan. Shut down in 1999 due to indespensable reasons itwas reopened on 1st Aprill 2003 in civil sector due to sheer public demand. Now it is a 2-sectioned school running all the three streams Science, Arts & Commerce from cless I to XII. Its having 967 students, served by a highly qualified and well-learned team of 36 staffs.
Vision
Apart from excellence in academics we inculcate "value Based Education" and "Life Skills" in the shaping minds of our children. Ours is a high and noble target of making "Men & Women", and not merely turning souls into just calculating machines.
